Michael R. Hergenroether

About Michael

While attending San Diego State, Michael began his legal career as a file clerk for a local civil litigation firm. He immediately learned that knowledge of the law was a powerful tool that could be used to help people in times of their greatest need.

After graduating from law school in 2009, Mr. Hergenroether returned to Fresno, devoting his practice to all areas of civil litigation at a local defense firm. Through several years of litigation practice, including jury trials throughout the San Joaquin Valley, Mr. Hergenroether acquired an extensive understanding of our judicial system and the profound impact it could have on a person and their livelihood.

Mr. Hergenroether litigated and tried cases ranging from automobile accidents, slip/trip and falls, wrongful death, and dog bites. However, he watched as insurance companies began to care more about their bottom line and less about injured individuals. Mr. Hergenroether decided to focus on helping the injured and underrepresented, joining Fowler | Helsel | Vogt in 2021. Mr. Hergenroether enjoys meeting with his clients, understanding their injuries, and communicating the client’s story to a jury.
