Case Summary
FHV files a suit for negligent hiring and retention of an unfit employee. Our client, a homeless woman, would often turn to the rescue mission for shelter, showers, clothing, and essential food. On multiple occasions, our client was required to endure unwanted groping, sexual harassment, and sexual requests from employees of the shelter in order to be provided food and clothing. And when our client refused these sexual advances, she was banned from the rescue mission until she was hungry and desperate enough to return and submit to the employee’s sexual demands. FHV is seeking general, special, and punitive damages in the lawsuit.
