Case Summary
FHV’s client was involved in a low-impact rear-end collision in Fresno,
California. Although the impact was low and caused less than $700 of property
damage, FHV’s client had a previous injury that made her susceptible
to hip injury. The minimal force of the impact resulted in FHV’s
client sustaining a fracture of her femoral neck approximately 4 days
following the collision. FHV was able to tie the femoral fracture into
the vehicle collision and resolve the case with the defendant driver’s
insurance company for the policy limits of $100,000.
